Product Discussion The Fab-Form products, including FastFoot, FastBag, and Fast-Tube, all provide a revolutionary way to reduce labor and effort, and save money and time. Reinforced fabric is used to form the concrete whether it is footings, pads, or columns. It is very efficient and there is minimal waste if any at all. Dampness in the basement will cause a source for mold to form. Now you can prevent rising dampness by using Fab-Form products. More and more people are also concerned with the possibility of leaching concrete chemicals into the soil. This problem is completely eliminated by using Fab-Form products. The best way to reinforce all of the concrete in these forms is through the use of Helix Reinforcement Fibers, a steel wire fiber discussed elsewhere on this website. If you’ve ever carried 2x6 or 2x8 footing boards into and out of an excavation, you know how heavy the boards are and you know the effort it takes. Now, with Fast-Foot, at the weight of 13 pounds, you can have 120 feet of footing material that will substitute for approximately 1,000 pounds of wood forms. You’ll need stakes and 2x4s for screed boards, which will be completely reusable, so you can see how much easier footings become. The FastBag pad form comes in various sizes. They need only to be placed and filled with concrete. If reinforcement is needed, you can easily place rebar into the bag through the existing opening in the bag or use the Helix fibers. Fast-Tube can be cut to any length from the 120’ roll. Bracing is simple to accomplish using 2x4s. Once the concrete has set, the tube is simple to strip leaving an attractive column. There are no unsightly spiral markings as are left with the cardboard tubes. |
